OK, you don’t get many briefs like that but from time to time you are staring at a blank sheet of paper with a deadline looming closer and a head full of useless statistics that blokes carry round with them…

Once you have sorted through the equivalent of the kitchen drawer that is the typical guy’s mind and found no inspiration what do you do?
Internet, that is good, except it wastes hours and achieves nothing. Some do drugs but that is generally a bit of a dead end as any ideas that seemed fabulous at the time are pants when they have come down. Music? Hypno trance crossover fusion mix? I don’t even know what that means.
Sorry to shatter the illusion but there is no sure fire way to come up with ideas, they just come along at chance moments, they can be the result of a conversation, something you have seen a whole bunch of different things, most of my ideas either pop into my head when I am in the shower (sorry folks) or when walking the dog, neither of which is very glamorous.
So that is how it is when you are at the cutting edge of ideas you need to take more showers with the dog, simple really
